PRIVACY, WITHOUT THE FINE-PRINT TRICK

# Your life is not our database.

Your Mac holds the sources. You choose the AI. Keeploop does not need a cloud copy of your inbox.

[See how it works](https://keeploop.app/privacy-first#details)

WHERE THE CONTEXT GOES ILLUSTRATION

YOUR MAC

### Mail. Notes. Calendar.

The sources you choose.

A scoped result, when requested

YOUR CHOSEN AI

### The answer needs context.

That provider receives the result.

From a web or phone AI app, our connection service passes it through. It never stores it.

LOCAL DOES NOT MEAN NOTHING LEAVES

## An honest data boundary.

Keeploop reads the sources you allow on your Mac. When your AI requests information, that result goes to the AI provider. That is how it can answer with your context.

Your data stays on your Mac. When you use Keeploop from a web or phone AI app, our connection service passes requests to your Mac and results back. It never stores them.

One-time and MFA codes are hidden from results sent to web and phone AI apps. Your chosen AI provider's own data policies still apply.

Health reports are off until you turn them on. They carry setup status and crash signatures, never your content.

SHARE LESS, ON PURPOSE

## The work question gets work context.

Source settings and access profiles define what is available. A focused prompt helps your AI ask for only what it needs.

TRY ASKING

> Use only my shared work sources. Find the latest delivery date for the Cedar project and cite the message. Leave personal accounts out.

Enforce the boundary in Keeploop source settings or an access profile. A prompt is not an access-control rule.

THREE WAYS IN. ONE SET OF RULES.

### AI apps on this Mac

Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and others connect locally. No Keeploop server is in the path.

### Web and phone AI apps

One Keeploop URL. Our connection service passes each request to your Mac and the result back. It never stores them.

### Your own tunnel

An advanced option with Tailscale Funnel or a Cloudflare tunnel. No Keeploop server is in the path. Your tunnel provider's terms apply. [How](https://keeploop.app/connect#own-tunnel)

### No message warehouse

There is no Keeploop-hosted copy of your mail for a cloud assistant to search.

### Control local copies

Inspect the app's Data controls for Keeploop's saved data, including voice profiles and optional notification history.

### Disconnect deliberately

Turn off a source, or remove a web or phone AI app on your Mac, when it no longer needs access. This does not erase content the AI already received.

TRY PRO FIRST

## Make it useful before you decide.

Connect your everyday sources and a compatible AI app. Try a morning brief, prepare a real reply, then watch one thread you care about. Try every Pro feature before you decide. Source permissions and provider support still apply.

YOUR MAC. YOUR CALL.

## More useful context. Less unnecessary sharing.
